NextGen Kitchens

NextGen Kitchen is a free, hands-on cooking workshop series for youth that focuses on building essential kitchen skills, confidence, and creativity. Through guided instruction and practical, hands-on learning, youth are introduced to cooking as a life skill, a creative outlet, and a pathway to greater independence. Each workshop features a new recipe and provides a supportive space where youth can learn, experiment, and grow.

Participants may register for a single workshop or attend multiple sessions based on their interests. All ingredients, equipment, and supplies are provided at no cost.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

Youth participating in NextGen Kitchen develop foundational cooking skills, learn safe food handling practices, and gain practical knowledge on how to prepare healthy, tasty meals at home. Each session introduces a new recipe, helping youth build confidence, creativity, and comfort in the kitchen while strengthening everyday life skills.
