Tina is passionate about a number of causes, one being food insecurity within her community of Scarborough. The impacts food insecurity is having on the lives of many across Toronto, nationally and globally post the pandemic must be addressed.
Tina believes in the theory of the, "The Power of One." whereby a person's actions can actually change the lives of many." It is for this reason, Tina strongly supports the principles of volunteerism and encourages all to give what they can in time, skill or other act of service in order to make the world a better place. Tina believes we all have something to give regardless of your station in life.
Tina brings with her 25+ years of experience working within the public sector with skill sets ranging from communications, marketing, community engagement, leadership and development, training, labour relations and Information Access and Privacy and non-profit and volunteer sector management.
