The SDG Goals Explorer Camp is a one-week interactive summer program designed for children ages 8–13 to explore and understand the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Throughout the week, students
will participate in daily activities, creative projects, teamwork challenges, guided discussions, and collaborative group exercises that encourage leadership, critical thinking, and global citizenship.
Campers will learn how the SDGs connect to real-world issues such as hunger, climate action, equality, clean water, education, and sustainable communities.
Each day will focus on interactive lessons and hands-on activities that make learning meaningful, fun, and
age-appropriate. Students will work together in both individual and group settings to build confidence, communication skills, and a deeper understanding of how they can contribute positively to their communities and the world around them.
On the final day of camp, a local councillor/community leader will be invited to attend a special student presentation showcase where participants will share their learning, reflections, and understanding of the SDGs. Students will celebrate their achievements and
receive certificates recognizing their participation and accomplishments throughout the program.
To continue learning beyond the camp, each participant will receive: An SDG take-home learning kit with tools and resources to guide continued learning and action as they grow
