My career began in the corporate world of business development and evolved into a purpose-driven journey in the nonprofit sector.
Guided by the Ubuntu philosophy—"I am because we are"—I’ve discovered the profound power of connection and community.
In the nonprofit space, I’ve combined my educational background in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Nutrition with my passions for food and people.
I’ve worked with Plan Canada, supported citywide nutrition programs with FoodShare, led food rescue initiatives, reviewed grants, and mobilized volunteers with Second Harvest.
These experiences led me to Feed Scarborough, where our mission to address food insecurity resonates deeply with my values.
Here, we focus not just on immediate relief but on building sustainable, long-term solutions that align closely with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
From managing individual and corporate volunteers to developing skill-building programs, I am committed to creating a lasting impact.
I believe that kindness is one of life’s most uplifting experiences.
Every day, I’m reminded that when we come together with compassion and purpose, we can build stronger, more resilient communities.
