As you may have heard, Daily Bread has made some serious allegations towards Feed Scarborough, which remain unproven.
I want to assure our donors, sponsors and our supporters that I am confident that “all monies received from Daily Bread” were in fact used for charitable purposes and this includes all funds that are received from our supporters.
Feed Scarborough has been actively investigating these allegations, through a legal and formal process and the outcome was to be disclosed to Daily Bread.
I understand you may have some concerns and questions, which I will be happy to address to the extent possible at present, in the near future I would be in a much better position to answer any questions you have in detail.
Feed Scarborough is a story of triumph and resiliency. As a small charity that began out of my back yard distributing hampers to our most vulnerable at the beginning of Covid to now, being considered a leader in combating systemic issues on a global scale is only the result of our communities' collaborative work. Hunger is a global crisis and is a threat to our very survival.
